The Labyrinth of Lost Hopes
In corridors of corporate might I tread,
Two moons have waned since quest's inception,
Each step echoes with unspoken dread.
Resume in hand, a shield of deception,
I brave the gauntlet of stern eyes and nods,
Yet find no respite, no sweet redemption.
Dreams shatter like fragile crystal rods,
As doors once ajar now firmly close,
Leaving me adrift, forsaken by the gods.
