Anthropology: A Sonnet of Humankind’s Quest

What tales are told in bones and scrolls ancient lie,

In realms afar where time's own secrets rest,

A search began beneath the human sky,

To solve the riddle of our primal quest.

From caves' dark whisperings and forged stone fleet,

Where art and weapon joined in mystery,

Scholars embarked on paths both rough and sweet,

To chart the winding road of history.

With each unearthed truth, the fog did clear,

The drumbeats of progression loud they rung,

The visage of our voyage sharp appeared,

From primal dawn to now, a song unsung.

Thus, shines anthropology's gentle light,

As history's interpreters delight.
