A Tale of Modern Wain in Streety Veil

When raid the rays, ere dawn the globe extends,

Bold Uber fights where weary travel bends;

A leather helm and wheel-held reigns unfurl

O'er glittering lands of engine roars they hurl.

More swift than horse, their metal steeds they glide,

From quest to quest, that wanderers might ride.

Unceasing strive mid sighs, strict time they ply,

And honore sustayneth them by fare-notes nigh,

Eke road-bound champions of this agèd sphere,

Yet songs unsung as riders buy their cheer.
