Wise Cedric, Feathers of Fate
Oh Cedric, wise owl with questions unshade,
From Kings Quest's lore thou dost brave disdain,
What whispers in twilight dost thou parade?
What secrets 'neath feathers thou dost maintain?
Hark! Seas of ventures and lands far to roam,
Doth courage shield thee from foul creatures' snare?
Or dost thou flutter, awaiting thy home,
Caught betwixt shadows of a hero's spare?
Yet, through yonder wood, wilt dawn's truth arise;
A quest unfolds and fate’s bewildering thread.
With ruffled plumes, dost conquer doubts and lies,
May light of sorrows on thy wings be shed.
Thus fly, brave Cedric, o’er clouded past’s glaze,
For thee belongs the valor knights do praise.
